It is V, V and V in V direction and Jai as key supporter!

On Monday, 11th of April, 2016, another history has been created in Kannada cinema industry. Three daughters of a prestigious family Vaibhavi, Vainidi and Vaisiri makes debut as heroines in ‘Yaana’.

We have given three heroines from one film. Don’t say there is dearth of heroines was the happiness of proud star couple of Kannada cinema Jai Jagadish and Vijayalakshmi Singh. It is D Shanker Singh and Protima Devi family branches spreading in Kannada cinema.

This is a very rare case of three daughter of prestigious family making debut at a time in one cinema.  Perhaps in the Indian cinema no such history is made.

For the muhurut of the film Dr Ambarish, V Ravichandran, Puneeth Rajakumar came to bless the new film team. For the three heroines the presence of three toppers was a good coincidence.

Yaanaa is from I Entertainment. My daughters in my direction have asked for I Phone as remuneration explained Vijayalakshmi Singh. It is a god sent type. All my three daughters almost of the same age have fit the story line. Suhas Gangadhar is in writing team of screenplay, Suni of Simple Ag ond Love Story fame is writing dialogues.  The main focus is entertainment. It is not teenage story all of them are engineering passed out in the film. They are not sisters in the film like in real life. Joshua Sridhar is scoring music for the film. Bhuvan Gowda has done the photo shoot for the film. It is about journey of three from Bengaluru to Goa.  That is one portion of the film. We are looking for three new faces to match the three girls in the film. There is no life without love. It will be roller coaster ride for the audience. No preaches and speeches. I have told my daughters not to come prepare. They have to do the role with fresh mind. When i started writing the script on 4th of April on 2014, I finished writing it in eight months. Two have given acceptance. When I explained the script to my third daughter she also agreed to act.

Suhas Gangadhar in the script and screenplay has already become member of Vijayalakshmi Singh film making family. He is so happy with the good work done so far.

Suni is writing dialogues with two of his friends for ‘Yaana’. The update of Vijayalakshmi Singh is very high and interesting he said.

Vainidi a BBM graduate says she is in happy go lucky girl who takes spot decisions. Vaisiri is in third year of engineering says the script of my mother is interesting and what else you want when mother is director she said. Vaibhavi elder of the three says she had acted in E Bandhana with her mother as director. In this film she plays a confident and focused girl.

Smt Pratima Devi recalled the journey of her life and her husband Shanker Singh evolving Mahatma Pictures 70 years ago.

Priyanka is costume stylist in this film making foray in to cinema. The film ‘Yaana’ is slated for release during the Dasara festival time.
